ministry philosophy

We believe children are an inheritance and investment by our Lord. We believe no greater calling exisist than that of raising children to love and follow Jesus.

As a church; we realize the great difficulty in raising rock solid children in a quick sand world. We are committed to supporting parents and grandparents through encouragement, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship.

Our ministry does not claim to have all the answers nor does it claim to have a 100% success rate. However, we do claim to be passionately pursuing knowledge needed to raise children according to standards set forth in scripture. We do claim to love families and possess a, do whatever it takes, attitude in helping them become a family that honors and serves the Lord.

Listed below are some great resources to help you introduce your child to Christ work of salvation and then to assist them in growing spiritually.

our pathway

Our Sunday morning pathway towards making disciples is call "The Gospel Project"  This pathway takes children through a three year journey showing how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. And where each one of us fits into it, too. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more.

Children Desiring God is a pathway that lays a solid foundation of gospel-centered truth's. Children will learn about God's bigness and glory while also learning of His activities and attributes. This curriculum prepares young hearts for the Holy Spirit's work of salvation.

our process

Children 5th grade and under have their own worship service that begins in conjunction with our 9:30 adult service. Children will begin with a time of worship through song.  They will then hear the Bible story for that day.  Following this interactive time children will move to a small group setting with students their age where they will further discuss and study the Bible Story.  Following small group time children will move through a series of stations such as craft, activity, and everyone's favorite snack.  Once these 20 minute stations are complete children will return to the main worship room where they will complete their Sunday with worship and a focus of missions.

This two and a half hours seems long but it is fast paced and constantly moving.  This also gives parents uninterrupted time of participating in Sunday morning worship and 3:16 small groups.

Children 5th grade and under are divided into three age categories; pre K, Kindergarten through second grade, and third through fifth grade.  Wednesday nights teaching focus more on God's bigness, glory, attributes, and actions.  It is our goal to help children see God's glory through a telescope and not a microscope.
